Mayor’s Question Time

The London Assembly will question Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, on his Final Draft Consolidated Budget Proposals 2020/21.

After questioning the Mayor, the Assembly will consider the Mayor’s Final Draft Consolidated budget and whether to approve it, with or without amendment. Amendments are subject to securing a majority of two thirds of Assembly Members present and voting. This is the final stage of the two-part budget process.

Adult Education Budget and gender inequality in STEM

Education Panel – 2.00pm in The Chamber



The Education Panel will discuss the devolution of the Adult Education Budget to the Greater London Authority (GLA). The guests are:

  • Jules Pipe CBE, Deputy Mayor for Planning, Regeneration and Skills, GLA
  • Michelle Cuomo-Boorer, Assistant Director - Skills & Employment, GLA

In the second part of the meeting the Panel will also discuss gender inequalities in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) and learn what the Mayor can do to reduce the skills gap that exists in STEM professions.
