The Mayor faces a number of key challenges in relation to planning and regeneration during this Mayoral term.
He will need to deliver on his manifesto commitments, implement the new London Plan, engage with Government as it undertakes significant reform of the planning system and respond to the impacts and support the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Planning and Regeneration Committee will tomorrow put questions to the Deputy Mayor for Planning and his team about how they will meet the challenges over the next 3 years.
The guests are:
- Jules Pipe CBE, Deputy Mayor for Planning, Regeneration and Skills
- Lisa Fairmaner, Head of the London Plan and Growth Strategies, Greater London Authority
- Lucinda Turner, Assistant Director, Planning, Greater London Authority
The meeting will take place on Wednesday, 22nd September 2021 from 2pm in the Chamber at City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1).
Media and members of the public can watch the meeting live here.
