COVID-19 and the steps taken to minimise its spread caused unprecedented disruption to London.

How did key Mayoral agencies respond to the pandemic and adapt their performance to meet the challenges?

The London Assembly will hold a question and answer session tomorrow to assess current performance and future challenges for the Greater London Authority (GLA), Transport for London (TfL), London Fire Brigade (LFB) and the Metropolitan Police Service (Met).

The guests are:

  • Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London
  • Andy Byford, Commissioner, Transport for London
  • Sir Stephen House QPM, Deputy Commissioner, Metropolitan Police
  • Andy Roe, London Fire Commissioner, LFC

Following the discussion, London Assembly Members will debate these motions.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, 10 June 2021 from 10am, in the Chamber at City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1).

Media and members of the public are invited to attend – numbers may be limited.

The meeting can also be viewed LIVE or later via webcast or YouTube
