Assembly to question London’s response to COVID19

As London and the rest of the UK responds to the COVID-19 pandemic, what lies ahead for London; both in the immediate future and for the next phase in the fight against COVID-19?



Tomorrow, the London Assembly GLA Oversight Committee will discuss London’s response to COVID-19 and plans for next phase of the response.



The guests are:

  • Professor Kevin Fenton, Regional Director (London), Public Health England
  • Dr Fiona Twycross, Deputy Mayor for Fire & Resilience and co-chair of London’s Strategic Coordinating Group (SCG)
  • John Barradell, Town Clerk of London & Chief Executive of the Corporation of the City of London and SCG
  • Eleanor Kelly, Chief Executive, LB Southwark and SCG

The meeting will take place on Thursday, 7th May from 11.00am.



In line with the Government’s advice, this meeting will be held virtually.
