In response to the announcement that a new Low Emission Bus Zone will be introduced on the route between Kilburn and Maida Vale in 2019, cleaning up 240 buses taking this journey.

Local London Assembly Member, Andrew Dismore AM, said:

“Londoners health is continually put at risk by the dangerously toxic air in our capital. I'm delighted to see City Hall bring forward this vital measure to clean up hundreds of buses that pass through our borough.

“We need these Low Emissions Bus Zones delivered in 2019. In taking urgent action now, we can start to make significant progress in cleaning up London's air”.
