Bradley Wiggins was given a hero's welcome today by a packed out crowd at Hyde Park BT London Live. Wiggo is one of a series of champion Team GB athletes and medal winners who are appearing daily on stage at the Mayor's free Live Site at Hyde Park.
Britain's most decorated Olympian, cyclist Bradley Wiggins, appeared this afternoon, to tremendous roars from the packed out crowd, estimated at 50,000, after achieving Olympic Gold in the road race time trials on Wednesday. Judo Silver medallist Gemma Gibbons and Bronze medallist Karina Bryant are set to appear later today.
A number of other medal winning Olympians are expected to appear on stage at Hyde Park London Live, as Team GB goes from strength to strength in the medals table. On Friday, Richard Wilson and his Shooting Gold, took to the stage at Hyde Park, accompanied by Canoe Slalom Gold Winners Etienne Scott and Tim Baillie and Canoe Slalom Silver Winners, David Florence and Richard Hounslow.
BT London Live allows Londoners and visitors to the capital to watch all of the sporting action on giant, state of the art screens, as well as live music and entertainment from some of the UK’s top artists and performers.

Along with giant screens to watch the sporting action, live music and a range of have-a-go sports to try, the live sites are fantastic places for people to enjoy this incredible summer for free."
At Hyde Park people can enjoy various have-a-go sports, cultural and musical performances on the BT Vision Stage. Other attractions include face painting or the Great Games Zone, where people can get a taste of what it is like to be in the shoes of an Olympic athlete. The Main Stage will feature music from Rebecca Ferguson, Amy MacDonald, McFly, Saint Etienne, the Overtones, Cover Drive and The Temper Trap.
In Victoria Park, visitors will be able to enjoy family-friendly sports and entertainment with a 55m BT Observation wheel giving views of the Olympic Park, bungee trampolines, zip lines and land and water zorbing. On the Main Stage in Victoria Park, music fans can enjoy performances by Club de Fromage, Alexandra Burke, Alyssa Reid, Misha B, Conor Maynard, Soul II Soul and Jazzie B and Friends.
