Summary of petition
“Local residents call on Mayor of London to veto plans to build an eighty-metre tower in Fulham.
The Council has approved its own planning application to build a new tower on
St Thomas Way. The tower will be 80 metres in height (over 20 metres higher that the old tower) with double the footprint it will have a huge impact on the local community.
The planning application has been called in by the Mayor of London who is concerned about the plans. The proposal results in fewer social housing units across Watermeadow Court and Edith Summerskill than before. Many local residents agree with the Mayor and are calling on the Council to rethink their plans.”
