Summary of petition
To the Mayor of London and the Met Police:
We, the undersigned, object to plans to stop Romford Police Station from operating as a 24hr desk. We ask you to urgently reverse this decision in order to keep Romford safe.
It has been reported that Romford police station is going to stop being a 24hr desk, this means that residents will no longer be able to access police services during the night at the station.
Romford is a busy London town and we have consistent issues with crime in our town centre. Closing the 24hr desk is a bad decision and will only risk public safety further.
This petition is calling on Sadiq Khan and the Met Police to urgently reverse this decision.
