Biography
Caroline Russell has lived in Islington since 1986 and joined the Assembly in 2016 as a walking and cycling campaigner focused on accessibility and road danger reduction.
During her first term on the Assembly with the City Hall Greens, Caroline concentrated on transport, environment and economy.
In her second term as Chair of Police and Crime Committee she focused on reducing violence affecting young Londoners and serious collision investigation while as Chair of Health Committee she raised awareness about the lack of public toilets in London, access to everyday healthcare for gender diverse Londoners, and the need to reduce drug harm.
Currently, Caroline is Leader of the City Hall Greens and serves on Transport, Oversight and Confirmation hearings Committees.
