On the 15th of March the International Rugby match between England and Ireland will take place in a sold out stadium with an estimated attendance of 82,000. Unfortunately, TfL has now informed the Rugby Football Union that there will be no District line services into Richmond on the day and that the Piccadilly line will operate with severe restrictions. Can the disruptions that thousands of Rugby fans are likely to face be at all avoided?

Will you consider lifting the restriction which currently only allows rallies to be held in Trafalgar Square on weekends and bank holidays, and only during daylight hours, which is particularly limiting for smaller organisations with limited resources? Would you consider introducing an application process, with each request to be considered on its individual merits, rather than impose a blanket restriction?

Ealing Council have pioneered an award winning approach to providing direct support for cyclists, which is having to be scaled back due to a lack of support from Transport for London. Shouldn't Transport for London be doing more to support innovation in cycling and assess whether these new projects should be taken up as best practice and rolled out across London?
