Classification of vehicles for the Low Emission Zone

I have been contacted by a constituent who drives an imported vehicle which was wrongly classified as a campervan under the LEZ regulations. As a result he was incorrectly asked to pay a LEZ fine. Could you please advise how many vehicles were incorrectly classified under the LEZ last year and how many of these were imported vehicles?
