Thank you for your response to question 2014/2349. Are you concerned about the rise in total casualties amongst either the drivers of taxi and private hire vehicles, or their passengers? Given the rapid fall in the number of car drivers and passengers who are being injured in traffic collisions over this period, why is this figure going the other way?

As you regulate the private hire fleet, can you explain what additional actions you have taken since 2009 to reduce conflicts and injuries?

LCDS in highways management plans

The draft London Cycling Design Standards provides a structured approach for highways intervention levels and inspections based on cycle demand and traffic conditions on particular routes. Will you ask TfL to encourage boroughs to adopt this approach in their Highways Asset Management Plans?

London Tour Buses - cycle awareness

To your knowledge, do drivers of London sightseeing tour buses receive the same cycle awareness training as that received by TfL bus drivers? If this is not the case, will you ensure that this training is offered to tour bus drivers at a reasonable rate as soon as possible?

Recycling advertising materials used on TfL network

Further to TfL's commitment (2012/2693) that it would ask its suppliers to investigate alternatives to non-recyclable advertising materials on Underground stations and Overground trains, please set out the percentage of these materials which are now recycled?

Involving cycling groups in future cycling infrastructure plans

Local cyclists have expressed frustration at the recently-published plans for Quietways in Southwark which include many changes which appear either cosmetic or unnecessary, as well as a few which actually improved safety. Will you ask TfL to ensure that in future councils co-produce plans with local cycling groups to ensure cyclists' priorities are addressed in this programme?
