I note that the Hong Kong company MTR has been confirmed as the Crossrail Operator for the Liverpool Street to Shenfield service. Can you confirm to my constituents and other travellers that integrated Oyster fares will apply on this service?

Peabody & Crown Estate Properties

  • Reference: 2014/3216
  • Question by: John Biggs
  • Meeting date: 17 September 2014
Thank you for your answer to my question 2014/2428 about the former Crown Estate properties and the transfer to Peabody. However, although your answer is factual, it does not address the issue of the affordability for those for whom the properties are intended. Can you please respond to the point in my original question which asked what, if any, review mechanism you though should be instituted?

In answer to my question 1014/2013 on this subject, your response detailed a meeting you had had with the Chair of London Councils. Can you please update me on what initiatives are being taken to alleviate this growing problem?

  • Question by: Stephen Knight
  • Meeting date: 17 September 2014
How do you respond to the news that a number of families living on the Raynesfield Estate in Merton are facing homelessness - with many more facing the prospect of moving far away from friends, family and local schools - following the decision taken to reduce the size of the residential portfolio owned by the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) and Metropolitan Police Service (MPS).

MOPAC/MPS residential portfolio (2)

  • Reference: 2014/3196
  • Question by: Stephen Knight
  • Meeting date: 17 September 2014
How will you ensure that the decision taken by the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) and the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) to reduce the size of their residential portfolios does not conflict with wider Mayoral objectives, including those to increase the number of affordable homes across London and prevent homelessness?
