Tourism supports 226,000 jobs in London and £6.6 billion of ‘tourism direct GVA’ is attributable to the capital.

The US and the countries of the Eurozone account for the majority of visitors but London’s future markets are likely to be more weighted towards the emerging economies.

The US remains the largest single market in terms of percentage share of spend in business tourism, holiday tourism and visiting friends and relatives (VFR).
