This Assembly notes that the Mayor’s proposed capital budget for TfL for 2013-14 is £3,560 million, an increase of 17% on the previous year.
This Assembly reaffirms its recommendation, made in its report ‘Gearing Up’, that the Mayor should allocate at least £145m to cycling in 2013-14 (which is equivalent to 2 per cent of TfL’s 2012-13 budget), and calls on the Mayor of London to implement this recommendation in his final budget.
