Motion detail

This Assembly celebrates London’s rich diversity and its long tradition of welcoming new communities. London’s diversity is one of its greatest assets. Our capital is home to a million EU citizens and one in three Londoners are born outside of the UK. This benefits our economy, enriches our culture and supports our public services.

This Assembly welcomes the initiatives implemented by the Mayor of London to ensure that London remains a welcoming city, particularly during the ongoing uncertainty surrounding Brexit and beyond.
