Baroness Newlove, the Victims' Commissioner, has completed a major review into the treatment of victims and witnesses of crime in London - the first review of its kind, which comes ahead of MOPAC taking on responsibility for the funding of victim services in the capital in October 2014.
The Review of Victims' Services in London contains 13 recommendations, including the need to create victim-centred approaches tailored to individuals, to address gaps in provision, and to consolidate data on victim services, which will be addressed in part by using £2.36m of discretionary Government funding secured by MOPAC.
