MOPAC Annual Report 2016-17

The MOPAC Annual Report 2016-17 discharges the Mayor’s duty under Section 12 of the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011.

The Annual Report must cover:

• The exercise of MOPAC’s functions in each financial year, and
• The progress which has been made in the financial year in meeting the objectives in the Police and Crime Plan.

The Police and Crime Plan 2017-21 was published on the 20th March 2017. Therefore this report is principally focused on describing MOPAC’s functions during the course of the preparation of the Plan – from the Mayor’s election through to 31st March 2017.
