Can you please advise me on the cost of advertising on all media platforms for the ULEZ campaign?
Our response
We have interpreted your request to relate to advertising related to the ULEZ expansion plans for this year.
I can confirm that the GLA holds information in scope of your request. The GLA has a responsibility to communicate with Londoners and keep them informed and engaged in our work, in particular of policies that may impact them.
At 9 May 2023, the GLA has spent £285,471.04 on advertising which raises awareness of the ULEZ expansion as well as signposting to the TfL vehicle checker and the Mayor’s scrappage scheme, which offers support available for those impacted.
Although the GLA and Transport for London (TfL) are closely linked, they are separate Public Authorities for the purposes of The Freedom of Information Act, as per schedule 1 of the Act.
