About the sessions
Learn about the Draft London Plan and find out how to take part in the consultation.
During August 2026, we are hosting five themed online events via Microsoft Teams. These drop-in sessions will help you learn more about the Plan and how to share your views.
You can submit your questions in advance and we'll answer a selection of these during the sessions.
About the consultation
The Draft London Plan sets out proposals for how London could grow and develop over the next 20 to 25 years, covering housing, transport, the environment, economic development and more.
We are consulting on the Plan and want to hear from as many Londoners as possible. Your feedback will help inform the next London Plan before it is submitted for independent examination.
Consultation closes at 5pm on Thursday, 15 October 2026.
What to expect in a session
Each session begins with a short introduction covering:
- what the Draft London Plan is
- why it is being consulted on
- how to submit a consultation response.
After the introduction, we'll provide answers to questions submitted in advance. You can submit questions when registering to your chosen session.
We'll also allow time at the end of the session to answer questions about the proposals and the consultation process using the chat.
Whether you're a resident, business, community organisation or simply interested in London's future, everyone is welcome.
