Witness this awe-inspiring full-scale re-enactment from the Wintershall Players, which commemorates the day Jesus is believed to have been arrested, tried and crucified by the Romans.
A cast of more than 100 actors and volunteers dressed in splendid costumes, as well as horses, donkeys and doves, come together to bring the story to life in Trafalgar Square.
Running for over ten years, this performance has become a permanent fixture of London’s Easter weekend and attracts thousands of spectators, embracing those of all faiths and none.
There are two 90-minute live performances at 12pm and 3:15pm, which are projected onto a big screen and also BSL interpreted so everyone in Trafalgar Square can follow the action.
Both performances will also be livestreamed on Facebook and available to watch on Wintershall's Youtube channel.
The Passion of Jesus has a realistic interpretation of the crucifixion, so parental guidance is advised.
