Moderation Criteria

As we want to get through as many questions as possible, from as many people as possible, could you:

• Ask only one question 

• Stay on topic i.e. transport, environment 

• Keep questions concise and to the point 

On the night: We want to ensure that Londoners get to ask their questions to the Mayor of London and Deputy Mayors, but we will not subject them, or viewers of the event, to abuse. Questions will, therefore, be moderated before they are posted to the live chat, and those that contain swearing, defamatory or illegal remarks or engage in ‘trolling’ will not be posted.   

Questions that are off-topic, during a specific topic session, will also be discarded.  Unfortunately, due to the large number of questions we anticipate, we will not be able to go back to questions submitted in the wrong topic section.  

Depending on the scale of questions submitted on the night, we may not be able to post all questions into the live chat within the time constraints.
