The following is a list of organisations offering devices and connectivity for those in need. The majority of these programmes are distributing devices through local schools and charities so may not be able to assist directly.

Interest free loans, grants or both that can be used to access the internet, purchase a laptop or both.

Free to loan laptops and data for learners.

Power to Connect

London Borough of Wandsworth Children attending a school in Wandsworth can apply for laptops and data vouchers, applications are only accepted via schools.

London Grid for Learning (LGfL) National Facilitating collective purchasing of devices to reduce the cost for schools and increasing access to devices and technology for children.
Restart National Advice on how to fix broken electronics
Connected Kingston The Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames Provides one to one support to enable residents to acquire basic digital skills to access online health services.
Superhighways The Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames

Training, advice and one to one support provided for voluntary and community group staff.

Laptops for Learning London Borough of Southwark in partnership with London South Teaching School Alliance

A crowdfunding and crowdsourcing campaign to collect donations to buy new laptops and good quality second-hand devices for schools.

Kingston Adult Education The Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames Devices and connectivity available for anyone signing up to and participating in a course.
Richmond and HillCroft Adult Community College The Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames Free one-to-one digital surgery to support Kingston residents through phone, online and other means to connect or setup their devices.

BT National WiFi vouchers for schools, and their charity partners
BT National Low cost broadband package for low income families - £10 per month fixed broadband and phone line service.
BT National Unlimited mobile data for EE and BT customers to support a child’s education
Vodafone National Social tariff for those out of employment - £10 per month unlimited unlimited calls, text and data.
Community Fibre London Providing free broadband connections to enable home schooling.
Virgin Media National Essential broadband helps users get online for £15 a month with a 15Mbps fibre broadband speed. It’s a broadband-only package available if the user is already a Virgin Media customer and receives Universal Credit.
