The Mayor is responsible for overseeing a budget of over £20 billion. What were the major variances between budgeted and actual income and expenditure in the 2023-24 budget?

The Budget and Performance Committee will ask questions on the performance of the Mayor’s 2023-24 budget.

Saturday night fever – London’s night-time economy

Economy, Culture and Skills Committee – Committee Rooms 2&3, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 10am

 

London’s night-time sector plays a vital role in London’s economy, with one in every four pounds being spent between 6am and 6pm. 

The Economy, Culture and Skills Committee will meet for the first of a two-part investigation into how well the sector has recovered post-pandemic, and how much progress has been made with the Mayor’s 24-hours London vision.

Elections Review Working Group 

Elections Review Working Group - The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 2pm

The Elections Review Working Group will review the planning, conduct and costs of the 2024 GLA elections across London and identify improvements for future years; and identify and collate from London Elects and other stakeholders, participants and external experts, views, accounts and explanations for any other issues that arose during the 2024 GLA election process.
