Accessibility & Inclusion in Transport Planning

In the first of a three-part investigation into how accessibility and inclusivity is being considered in planning London’s transport, the London Assembly Transport Committee will speak to guests with experience of the challenges that disabled transport users face and experts in inclusive design.
The Committee will ask whether Transport for London’s (TfL) Equity in Motion strategy can bring about the “high-engagement culture” it aims for, and what more needs to be done to ensure all Londoners’ needs are met by London’s transport network in the future. The guests are:

Chair of the London Legacy Development Corporation

In May, due to a rising trend of reported cyber incidents, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) called for all organisations to boost their cyber security and personal information they hold, amid the growing threat of cyber-attack.
In the first meeting of a two-part investigation, the GLA Oversight Committee will meet to discuss the broader context of cyber threats and challenges for public institutions in London and the UK. The guests are:

The capital’s night-time sector plays a vital role in London’s economy, with one in every four pounds being spent between 6pm and 6am.
In the second of a two-part investigation, the London Assembly Economy, Culture and Skills Committee will meet to review how effective the Mayor’s policies have been in making London a 24-hour city, as well as looking at pay and conditions in the night-time economy and the concerns of night-time workers.
