Caroline Russell AM publishes official meeting log as she calls for greater transparency at City Hall
Caroline Russell AM is once again publishing her official meeting log as part of her ongoing commitment to encourage greater accountability at City Hall, which would allow the public to hold elected officials to account.
This comes after Caroline called on all London Assembly Members in 2024 to make comparable diary records publicly available. While this standard has yet to be widely by other Assembly Members, Green Party London Assembly Members are leading by example by publishing their meetings, giving Londoners clear insight into their work and priorities.
Green Party Assembly Member Caroline Russell said:
“Transparency is the cornerstone of a healthy democracy. People need to be confident that we are carrying out our duties properly.
“By publishing these records I am demonstrating my commitment to being held accountable by the electorate.
“I urge all Assembly Members to follow suit and make their meeting records public, Londoners deserve to know the behind the scenes work of the people they elected.”
