London's Economic Outlook: How is London Performing

London contributes over 22 per cent of the UK’s total output and employs over 5.4 million people. Over the past year employment in London has increased by over 6 per cent and a wide range of other economic indicators suggest London’s economy is growing strongly.

In this lunchtime presentation, Gordon Douglass and Brian Smith from GLA Economics examined the current state of London’s economy and presented the GLA’s latest economic forecast for the years up to 2016.
