Independent review of the Olympic Stadium

Date published:

In March 2017 the Mayor commissioned Moore Stephens to lead an independent review of the Olympic Stadium. Moore Stephens has completed the report and it has now been published.

What is the London Stadium?

The stadium sits in the Olympic park and was originally built for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games with plans to continue to use it afterwards for sporting and community events.

Why did the Mayor commission this independent review?

The review into the stadiums finances was commissioned in March 2017 to help understand how decisions were made about its transformation and the reason behind high costs.
