Yes. We have rigorous quality assurance checks in place to ensure each improvement repair is of a high standard:
RetrofitWorks, who manage the Warmer Homes programme including the installation of your home improvements, will:
- talk to you about what the improvements will entail before the work starts, to ensure that you're happy with the proposed work
- ensure you (and any third party who has applied on your behalf) signs off the improvements, to confirm you’re happy with the quality of the work
- conduct any necessary quality checks before leaving your home
- keep photographic records of all work done and provide any necessary documentation on completion of the works
All RetrofitWorks installers have undergone extensive vetting to ensure they are capable of carrying out the work, holding the correct certification, having been trained to ensure the safety of both their employees and the residents and being required to follow strict contractual requirements around quality and customer care.
The Greater London Authority will also ensure that 5 percent of all installations and repairs are independently audited to ensure overall quality and customer satisfaction.
