The Foot of Clay
Description:
My title comes from the saying 'feet of clay,' which means we are all human. For this competition, I immediately started thinking about what I could do. In the evening, while telling my parents about my ideas, I looked over at the shoe rack and remembered the saying 'feet of clay.' I thought about how it would look on a plinth. That's when I decided to make a foot out of clay and then paint its toenails. I've never made a foot out of clay before, so it isn't perfect, but I had a lot of fun making it.
