My assessment is that there was a welcome reduction this year in the amount of crime and anti social behaviour in London in which the abuse of fireworks was a key factor. I believe that the joint GLA, MPS, LFB and London Councils work on this issue, particularly the focus on trading standards enforcement against underage sales, was crucial to this. What data do we have about the incidences of misuse of fireworks this year?
