As part of your response to the Government's consultation on Heathrow's expansion, will you provide a clear assessment of whether air pollution will exceed the EU legal limits by 2020 if the third runway is built? Can you also provide an assessment of the potential for a successful legal challenge on these grounds?

Do you agree that one of your main contributions to the consultation on a third runway at Heathrow should be to analyse rigorously the background assumptions and research presented by the Government on air quality and noise? Can you make this work a priority for your environment team, and commit to sharing any findings as quickly as possible with HACAN and the 2M group?
