Are you aware that the amount spent on police overtime in the last year by the Metropolitan Police Service is enough to pay for 80% of London's Safer Neighbourhood Teams? Do you find it surprising that despite an increase of over 8,500 uniformed staff since 2000, the police are still spending this amount on overtime? Will you talk to the Commissioner about the excessive policing of public demonstrations, which accounts for much of this overtime bill?
