In your manifesto you pledged to provide funds for extra scanners to help combat the problem of knives on our streets. How quickly will the Metropolitan Police roll these out and are you considering following the example of Croydon in using Arches to help combat crime?

As with the Family Justice Centre this is a new initiative brought forward by Croydon Council. Having visited the centre recently will you bring forward plans for more centres in London?

Croydon has Europe's first Family Justice Centre in order to provide medical, legal, housing, financial, family and counselling support to victims of domestic violence, all from a single location rather than the victims having to track down this help for themselves. As part of the Mayor's domestic violence strategy, will you support this model and any plans for an expansion of Family Justice Centres?

The creation of the SBR is a concern to businesses in Croydon and Sutton as it could prove to be a threat to the Business Improvement Districts that have been set up to encourage businesses to contribute extra money for improvements in their local area. The SBR by contrast could take money from the area and distribute it to other parts of London. Will you work to ensure that this doesn't happen and look, with boroughs, at offsetting the SBR and BID in areas that already have a BID set up?
