Thank you for your positive answer to my question 672/2011 on ring fencing money for biking boroughs. Can you detail the reasons and financial constraints which account for you allocating such a small amount of money, with £4m spread over 13 boroughs and three years?

In your answer to 4074/2010 you tell us that 139 collisions with cyclists caused injury to a pedestrian, including 1 fatality. Can you provide an equivalent figure for injury to cyclists from these collisions? Is there any analysis available of who was at fault in these collisions?

Can you confirm that the new safer transport contract with the Met Police will contain a penalty clause relating to bus reliability affected by red route enforcement? A TfL report in 2006 revealed that rigorous enforcement had reduced average waiting times by 15 per cent.

Will you ask LOCOG to urgently review their plans to prune more than 400 trees, including ancient and veteran trees, to heights of up to 5.2m, with some branches being removed to the stem? This seems excessive, runs contrary to guidelines and could cause long-term damage to highly valuable trees.
