Recently Network Rail have completely razed to the ground a woodland near to railway tracks in Grange Park, Enfield to the dismay and anger of local residents and the local Council. Quoting from a letter sent to a local newspaper, one resident wrote; "The residents living in the area are now completely exposed to the railway and the noise pollution it brings, not to mention the unsightly and barren wasteland which was once home to abundant wildlife and beautiful trees which had taken so many years to grow and establish.
