On 11 October 2009, The Guardian quoted the former Prime Minister of Denmark, Poul Nyrup Rasmussen, as saying 'hedge funds are buying off ... Boris Johnson'. Did you ever contest this serious allegation and, if not, why not?

Why do you think that between September 2007, when you were endorsed as the Conservative party's mayoral candidate, and March 2008 when the mayoral race kicked off, 77% of the total campaign funds you are allowed by law - £324,000 - came from bankers and other 'City grandees'?

In a 26 November GLA press release entitled 'You're hired! Mayor in drive to create over 20,000 Apprenticeships in London' it stated that you have written to '100 of the capital's top companies urging them to help Londoners into work and boost the economy by creating more than 20,000 new apprenticeships'. How many of these companies responded to your letter and how many apprenticeships have they committed to deliver?

Youth Unemployment

In December 2010, the New Policy Institute & Trust for London reported in London's Poverty Profile: Reporting on the Recession that the unemployment rate among young adults is higher than at any time in the previous 17 years and that one in three of London's unemployed population are aged under 25. Given that the LDA's 'Sustained Employment' budget has been decimated, what do you intend to do as Mayor to help rectify London's shocking record on youth unemployment?
