What planning or other technical guidance is available to assist the boroughs in assessing where London's new generation of waste plants should be sited, in particular what type of waste plants should be located in strategic industrial sites and what plants are acceptable nearer to homes and schools? If no such guidance exists will you consider providing it, so as to ensure that London's new waste infrastructure can be created as quickly as possible but without harming London's communities and neighbourhoods?
