Height Restriction Breaches, Blackwall Tunnel

TfL do not have powers to penalise drivers who fail to comply with the height limit traffic sign at the entrance to the Blackwall Tunnel. The decision on how such a breach is resolved is left to the discretion of the police officers attending the incident. Do you believe that it would be more expedient if TfL were able to issue a Fixed Penalty Notice to drivers who breach the restrictions in this way?

You may be aware that hotel workers from the Holiday Inn in Mayfair held a protest on Tuesday 24th May to demand that this official Olympic Hotel pay them fairly. As a strong supporter of the London Living Wage, will you write to this company to urge to pay their workers at least the living wage?
