In January this year the IPPC upheld three complaints, made on behalf of an autistic Barking resident who had been traumatised by a police raid in June 2011. One of their recommendations was to MPS Training Management. 'that they consider the feasibility of delivering training to all MPS officers on dealing with people with autism.' Has this recommendation been implemented and if not, will you guarantee that you will demand it be implemented as a matter of urgency.
