Worklessness and London's Women

The number of unemployed women has skyrocketed in London from 39,813 in March 2008 to 90,459 in March 2012 with significant increases every year. I am sure you will agree that this is crisis situation for London's women. In your election campaign you emphasised job creation. What plans do you have, specifically targeted at women, to get them back into the working world?

Affordable Childcare in London

The costs of childcare in the UK are among the highest in the world. And the cost of Childcare in London is between 25 and 35% more expensive that in the rest of the UK. Over the course of your last term you stripped down and then scrapped London's Childcare Affordability Programme. What plans do you have to help low paid Londoner's in their struggle to afford decent care for their children?
