At the last Mayor's Question Time you asserted that close to two thirds of crashes between cyclists and motor vehicles were due to due 'some infraction by the cyclists themselves of the rules of the road'. Given that the contrary is true, according to official data from the Transport Research Laboratory, will you withdraw those comments and apologise for misleading Londoners in order to set the record straight?
