From the investigation into vegetation on railway embankments I carried out on behalf of the Assembly earlier this year, it was very clear that Network Rail were often failing to communicate properly with local people and were failing to spell out the full extent of trackside vegetation management work they were due to carry out. The widespread local concerns about the drastic clearance of trees and bushes besides the railway line at Drayton Park Station and Ashburton Triangle is yet another example of this. Do you share local residents' concerns and will you be making representations to Network Rail?
