There is a desire for both government level as well as at London level to rapidly develop modular homes to tackle housing crisis. How will this be reflected in London Plan (alterations) and what standards and criteria would you set up to ensure the quality and range of unit sizes e.g. from starter homes to larger units?

Child Poverty - Brent and Harrow (2)

Findings of the report by 'The End Child Poverty Coalition' show that in Brent 20.46 of children are living in poverty before housing costs - this rises to 32.04% after allowing for housing costs. I Harrow 16.95% of children are living poverty before housing costs - this rises to 26.64% after allowing for housing costs. How is the Mayor helping these boroughs to tackle the scourge of child poverty?

Findings of the report by 'The End Child Poverty Coalition' show that as many as 43.7% of children in capital are living in poverty in some areas. Of the 20 local authorities with the highest levels of child poverty, 11 are in London. The coalition members have called upon the government to end the freeze on children's benefits and to reverse the sharp cuts under Universal Credit Scheme. What is the Mayor doing to tackle this issue?

Air Quality: Transport Impact on Health

I appreciate that air quality is on top of the Agenda of the Mayor. It is a huge concern that '2015 Air Quality Plan' failed to comply with Supreme Court judgement, EU directives and the modelling of pollution levels was found to be over-optimistic. How does the current air quality levels compare to other world cities and Mayor's plans for robust and effective actions for a quicker and sustained impact?

Garden Bridge

The Autumn Newsletter of the Garden Bridge Trust confirms its cost at £185m and they have Contractors on standby. The Trust as expected wants the project to happen by raising the additional funds. What is the update on this project and Mayor's current position?

Time lost in daily commuting

The recent findings from the annual London Commuter Index found that a third of Londoners spend the equivalent of a whole day's work every week commuting to and from the office. Whilst, Mayor's fares freeze and Government lobbying will go some way to address cost of travel aspect, what do think can be down in the short term plan to make journeys more reliable, quicker and make them more comfortable?

Dangerous and Disruptive Roadworks

TfL has been successful in prosecuting British Telecom who are one of the worst offenders causing delays, disruption and dangerous road conditions. One major way is to stop/hugely improve all such unacceptable situations is through greater powers for the Mayor. What is the situation with the Mayor's plans to lobby the Government for this and what else can be done by the Mayor and Local Councils to improve the situation?

HGV Safety

I welcome your plans to introduce 'star rating' for HGV safety leading to a ban in London of the most dangerous lorries by 2020. However, as urged by cycling safety campaigners, isn't there strong merit in bringing forwarded the ban immediately rather than waiting till 2020?
