On 19 July 2016, at the Police and Crime Committee it was stated that the National Police Chiefs' Council (NPCC) would be producing and consulting upon new national police guidelines for the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) in the policing of certain crimes. a) Will the Information Commissioner's Office and the CCTV Commissioner be consulted on these guidelines b) Will a Privacy Impact Assessment be carried out? If not, will you press the NPCC to take these steps?
