I eagerly await further details of your proposed London Model for Private Rent, as current Assured Shorthold Tenancies are urgently in need of reform. Can you confirm that you will, if given the appropriate powers from central Government, end the Right to Rent checks currently imposed on landlords, and ensure that no landlords are able to make discriminatory decisions about who they rent to on the basis of nationality, race or any other protected characteristic, as well as employment and benefits status?
