In answer to Mayoral Question 2016/0967 it was stated that variable message signs were put in place to remind drivers to switch off when the bridge lifts. What was the outcome of this trial and why was it not made a permanent initiative?

Department of Transport funding for electric buses

On the 6 February 2019 it was announced by the Department for Transport that TfL has been awarded £6.956 million to fund 63 electric buses and supporting infrastructure. Please set out the bus routes where these new electric buses will be allocated.

Please provide me a copy of those interim results plus all correspondence, the terms of reference and details of the contact for this activity.

Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR) 2013

The Health and Safety Executive recently responded to a freedom of information request (Reference No: FOI/201811227) stating that in the past three years 269 incidents under the reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013 had been received from TfL’s contracted bus operators, yet TfL’s own bus safety data shows injury incidents to be significantly higher. Does TfL have any plans to ensure that bus operators fully comply with the law in reporting such incidents to the HSE?

Safety Audits of TfL’s Bus Operators

In response to a recent freedom of information request (TfL Ref: 2741 – 1919) TfL stated: "we do not carry out safety audits on bus operators and we haven’t done since 2016.” Is this correct? If so, please explain why TfL no longer conducts safety audits of its bus operators and how this decision was taken.

In your response to MQT 2019/014 you refused to publish the "monthly independent monitoring checks” because "the information is commercially sensitive and used for tender evaluations.’ Please explain why copies of these “monthly independent monitoring checks” cannot be published with 'commercially-sensitive' material redacted.
