On 13th May, you claimed in a LBC interview that a skilled migrant contributes £16,000 annually to the economy compared with £800 for a skilled British worker. You went on to state that a skilled migrant’s family contributes £12,000 even accounting for use of public services while a skilled British worker’s family takes £4,400. But the report from which you drew these comparisons published by the Migration Advisory Committee does not include these like-for-like comparisons.
