Summary of request
Copy of request:
The Crystal Palace National Sports Centre (CPNSC) and its grounds has gone through several redevelopment/refurbishment projects over the past few years.
Starting in 2018, the GLA ran a series of community engagement events as part of a programme called 'On Your Marks'. An element of this programme was an online survey/questionnaire that was conducted to help direct the goals of the project.
The organisation running the campaign stated that they had 'packaged' all received questionnaire responses "so that these could be best used to develop the next stages of the project". I would like to see the results of this 'packaged' data, specifically, I would like a proportional breakdown of which sporting activities people requested to see either newly included or improved upon. I would also like the number of responses for this sample.
Response:
The GLA does not hold the raw data from the 2018 online survey/ questionnaire.
The results from these surveys were compiled and analysed by engagement consultants Pidgeon Perfect, who produced a report of the results including numbers of responses (attached). They also worked closely with the design team to communicate and coordinate feedback.
The results from these surveys and workshops directly informed the project objectives, and helped shaped some key design moves in 2018-2019 for the feasibility and concept design work. This is described in the 'Community Conference' presentation (attached).
Please note the project has now evolved and developed and a representative of the team would be happy to meet with you to share the current project status and how the design is developing.
The latest engagement surveys and data from 2023-2024 are currently being analysed. It is intended that this data will also influence and shape the project as it continues to develop.
