Latest Great Place Scheme Update
OPDC has been awarded almost £1.5 million of funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund, which will be used to enhance the role that arts, culture and heritage plays in the future of the area.
Since being awarded the grant, we have focussed on getting the right resources in place, and have appointed a Great Place Scheme Programme Manager, Grace Williams, to oversee the delivery of the project. We are now working on a programme of activity to launch in Spring 2018.
Creative Programming Partner
We are pleased to announce that Create London have been appointed as the Creative Programming Partner for our Great Place Scheme.
Over the next three years they will provide expertise, advice and guidance in the delivery of the Great Place Scheme and will help to devise a high-quality programme of events, activities and projects.
We are keen to involve as many members of the community as possible in the Great Place Scheme, from volunteering at events, helping us deliver projects and selecting artists to work with.
